The circumstances that led to the chance meeting and consequently the introduction of many of the current members may be considered a degree of divine hope and shared values. Multiple meetings dating back to 2004 ended with determination focused on building trust that must be coupled with transparency and accountability.

Such priced convictions of pooling knowledge for the discussion of important economic and business issues involved many from all walks of life.

That strong, thoughtful, and supportive group agreed to the formation of the Economic Club of Africa (ECA), a possible important economic and business components of a successful people. The strength of pooling our different talents and visions started the strength of this ongoing Economic Club of Africa (ECA) that is open to all people interested in Africa outside the continent and attracted to working together starting here in the State of Michigan.
